Final Camera-Ready Guidelines

For all accepted papers in ICIMCIS 2023, please ensure that you have completely revised your paper according to reviewers’ comments in your EDAS conference manager account.

The paper must follow the publication guidelines provided by IEEE on IEEE Manuscript Templates for Conference Proceedings. Please revise any formatting errors and use PDF-eXpress to generate a compliant file. Kindly pay attention to the guidelines for each component of the paper in the template. Several common mistakes include:

  • Titles (and subtitles)
  • Authors List and Affiliations
  • Tables/Figures Placement/Captions
  • Gaps/blank spaces in and between the paragraphs
  • Picture resolution (min. 300 dpi)
  • References
  • Equations (should not be in images, but in real equation format).

In order to ensure that your PDF file is IEEE Xplore-compliant, use IEEE PDF eXpress to pass the formatting checks.

Final Upload/Submission

The authors will be required to revise and resubmit the camera-ready paper with PDF format via EDAS conference manager via EDAS conference manager no later than Oct 16th, 2023

The authors must also send the Word/LaTex document of the camera-ready paper and a copy of the compliance message from PDF eXpress via email icimcis@upnvj.ac.id together with payment proof with the following subject in your email:

[ICIMCIS 2023] Camera Ready Paper [Your Paper ID]: [Your Paper Title]

* Please ensure the maximum accepted similarity level is 25%. We will run the plagiarism checker (iThenticate) on your camera-ready paper.
* Please proofread your manuscript, and ensure that your paper uses American English.
* Please ensure that all references have been formatted with any reference management tool; we recommend using Mendeley with IEEE format.
* Please ensure that your paper follows IEEE conference paper format or your paper will be rejected for publication on IEEE Xplore

Payment 

At least one author of each accepted paper must register and complete the payment by Oct 20th, 2023 to appear in the proceedings and be scheduled for presentation.

Please provide ID paper and the first author’s name on the payment description and send them together via email icimcis@upnvj.ac.id.

Author Registration

Due to IEEE technical co-sponsorship of ICIMCIS 2023, your final paper is planned to be included in IEEE Xplore for archival value after the conference. However, IEEE reserves the right to exclude an acceptance paper from inclusion in IEEE Xplore if it is not presented at the conference. Since the conference will be held virtually, we will schedule a date for a virtual presentation trial. Further instructions on virtual presentation will be updated through ICIMCIS 2023 website.

Copyright Transfer to IEEE

Complete IEEE Electronic Copyright Form (ecf) for IEEEXplore publication. The instructions:

To get the IEEE (Electronic) Copyright Form, the authors can choose one of the following options:

  1. IEEE Electronic Copyright (eCopyright) Form from EDAS (recommended) – or
  2. IEEE Copyright Form (in DOC form or PDF form) – For this option, an author needs to print and scan the signed copyright form, and then upload it to the EDAS system.
